We are glad to inform you that on 22.01.2024 the EUIPO relaunched the “Ideas Powered for Business” Fund for SMEs, on the basis of which a voucher of EUR 1000 can be received for the payment of legal fees at OSIM / EUIPO, an amount that can cover up to 75% of the legal fee for registering new trademarks/designs. The Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund is a grant scheme designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the EU protect their intellectual property (IP) rights. The application may be submitted by an owner, an employee or an authorized external representative acting on their behalf. Grants are awarded to SMEs and reimbursement is always made directly to the SME’s bank account. Funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessing the funds is subject to conditions that can be studied by following the link available below:

I had the great pleasure and honour to present my research work into “The path of trademarks in creative mediums – From painting to Metaverse” during the CNCPIR Conference that took place between October 18-20 at the Mara Hotel, in Sinaia. I was glad to liaise with my colleagues and to be able to freely discuss jurisprudential progress in the field of intellectual property. I would like to also thank CNCPIR for the invitation! Congratulations for organising this long-awaited event, which turned out to be a real success for all participants!
